These explorers have dedicated themselves to the archipelago, driven by a love for its unspoiled beauty. Their strong connection to the land, wildlife, and local culture offers invaluable insights into the unique geological features, marine life, and endemic species that define this extraordinary ecosystem.
Greg, a Galapagos Islands native, is dedicated to conservation and wildlife photography. He began his career as a naturalist guide in 1999 and became a certified scuba diving instructor by 2002, enhancing his marine science expertise. His passion drives him to lead exhilarating adventures, enhancing his expertise in marine sciences. Greg holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences and a Master’s in Geographic Information Sciences, further enriching his understanding of the natural world.
As a wildlife photographer, he has captured stunning images across diverse regions, from Antarctica to Borneo, gaining insights into the lives of penguins and orangutans and observing gray whales in Baja California. With his camera, Greg is committed to revealing the beauty and fragility of ecosystems, highlighting the urgent threats facing endangered species.

Greg Aranea
Ericka is a pioneering Ecuadorian freediver, tourism specialist, and conservation advocate whose life’s work is deeply connected to the ocean. A 13-time national record holder, she has pushed the limits of human potential beneath the surface while inspiring a new generation of Ecuadorian freedivers, her life has been shaped by the sea, giving her purpose and guiding her to creating meaningful experiences for travelers in the Galápagos Islands and along Ecuador’s vibrant coast.
She has shared the beauty of the underwater world with both locals and visitors.
In the Galápagos, she has developed free community programs that connect island residents with their marine heritage, because I believe true conservation begins with education and local empowerment.
Through her work in tourism and conservation, she designs journeys that go beyond sightseeing. Each experience blends adventure, culture, and respect for nature — ensuring you not only witness the wonders of Ecuador but also understand and care for them.
